I’m really happy to announce I’ve contracted with Juno Books to publish my urban fantasy novel, Amazon Ink. It’s the story of a family of Amazons who left the tribe to run a tattoo parlor in Madison, Wisconsin, but get pulled back into tribe life when murdered Amazon teens start showing up on their doorstep.
There are some great characters the protagonist is the mother–the main tattoo artist, her teenage daughter–who doesn’t know they are Amazons, the protagonist’s mother–a warrior, and the protagonist’s grandmother–an ex-high-priestess. (She is my “I will wear purple” character.)
Check back for more information, but right now I’m guessing spring or summer of ‘09 for release.
